Odessa Port Plant shows a net loss
In the first half of this year, Odessa Port Plant (OPP) incurred a loss of $43.3 million versus its net profit of $17 million for the compared period last year.
The enterprise had stagnated since April 2018 and resumed its operation in August 2019, starting to receive natural gas from Agro Gas Trading.
Odessa Port Plant is one of the most powerful chemical enterprises in Ukraine. It can produce more than a million tons of ammonia and 600 thousand tons of carbamide per year.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
