Bayer appoints new Head of Crop Science unit in Russia
Natalia Smolyarenko was appointed to the post of the Head of Crop Science division of the Bayer group in Russia and the CIS. Previously, she worked as the Head of the Sales Department in Crop Science in Russia.
Natalia Smolyarenko has over 20 years of experience in agricultural business. She graduated from Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University and finished the MBA program, a joint project of the Russian Foreign Trade Academy and the French government.
She began her career in Rhone-Poulenc company as a Commercial Assistant. After the merger of Aventis and Bayer, Natalia Smolyarenko became the Sales Coordination Manager. Since 2014, Natalia has been taking the position of the Head of the Sales Department.
Under her supervision, Crop Science strengthened its presence in Russian regions, introduced a customer-oriented approach and a strategy for working with key partners. Natalia has developed the potential of the combined Bayer and Monsanto product portfolio, reinforcing the expertise of Crop Science in the crop and seed protection segment.
Crop Science is an agricultural division of Bayer. The company suggests presowing seed treatment, a line of hybrids of crops, innovative crop protection agents and the solutions for digital farming.
