KuibyshevAzot utilizes renewable energy concepts
KuibyshevAzot (Samara region, Togliatti) and Sberbank signed the first in Russia agreement on cooperation in implementing joint projects related to electricity supply based on renewable power sources (RES). The companies also agreed on creating conditions for the introduction of innovative technologies and products in this area.
“The signed contract is a good basis for developing cooperation in the field of renewable power sources. As a socially responsible company, we are aware of the importance of projects aimed at natural resource conservation. This is a significant initiative for the Samara region where many power-consuming industries are located,” noted Alexander Gerasimenko, CEO of KuibyshevAzot.
“Key aspect in implementing projects related to RES is to maintain the balance between reducing environmental impact and strengthening the competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the company. The complex approach allows us to expect positive results both for the individual business entities and for the region as a whole.”
