Perm Mineral Fertilizers slightly increased production
In January-March of this year, the Perm Mineral Fertilizers enterprise (part of Uralchem) increased the production of nitrogen fertilizers by 1% to 227.3 thousand tons.
Urea output grew by 1% to 171.6 thousand tons. The company manufactured 55.7 thousand tons of commercial ammonia.
At the end of 2019, Perm Mineral Fertilizers produced 871 thousand tons of nitrogen fertilizers (217 thousand tons of ammonia and 654 thousand tons of urea).
Currently, Perm Mineral Fertilizers is operating as normal, despite the epidemic of coronavirus.
“The plant has an emergency operations center to curb the spread of coronavirus, and all necessary measures are being taken to protect the employees. Along with the production process, the enterprise is preparing for the scheduled overhaul in August to reconstruct the reforming furnace at the ammonia unit,” said Alexey Averyanov, Director at Perm Mineral Fertilizers.
