Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals has stopped fertilizer production
The Indian corporation Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals has completely stopped the operation of its units producing complex and special fertilizers due to the lockdown announced by the country’s government to curb the coronavirus epidemic, making the transport arteries in the country unavailable.
Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals has all the necessary permits in place to continue production of mineral fertilizers, however, due to the limited transport and manpower, it is not possible to deliver finished products from the plant to customers.
Earlier, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a nationwide lockdown to contain the coronavirus outbreak.
