Belarus sells less agricultural chemicals abroad
Last year, export of potash fertilizers from Belarus decreased by 5.8% to 6.23 million tons (in terms of 100% of nutrients), and export of mixed fertilizers went down by 3.7% to 906.3 thousand tons, as reported by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
In monetary terms, the export of potash fertilizers grew by 2.3% to $ 2.78 billion, and that of mixed fertilizers went up by 7.2% to $ 306.2 million.
It is worth noting that Belaruskali is the only producer of potash fertilizers in Belarus. In 2019, it produced 7.35 million tons; by 2025, its capacity may increase to 15.5 million tons per year.
