Damate to introduce VRA in Tyumen Region
The Damate group has completed preparations for the spring seedtime in its fields in the Tyumen Region. Its specialists plan to start sowing in early May and carry it out in optimal agrotechnical terms.
Currently, the total land fund of the Damate group in the region is 12.1 thousand hectares.
In 2020, the Damate group will make a number of changes to the technology of crop growing in the Tyumen Region. For example, it will introduce variable rate application (VRA) of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers.
When this method is used, the dosage is calculated with account taken of the precise location in the field and its particular needs and of the planned yield based on data from agrochemical soil testing. This will eliminate fertility variation and increase crop yields.
