PhosAgro and Innopraktika to create an incubator of ideas
PhosAgro and Innopraktika Foundation have signed an agreement to cooperate on innovation in the field of mineral fertilizers and the agroindustrial complex.
The parties agreed to work together to create infrastructure for the introduction of modern technology in the agroindustrial complex. For that to happen, PhosAgro and Innopraktika will create a corporate incubator of ideas to select unique innovative solutions with a view to introducing them into a modern plant nutrition system and managing crop yield and crop quality.
PhosAgro and Innopraktika, along with leading agricultural research institutes and universities, will also build and develop professional standards for specialists training in the Russian agroindustrial complex, taking into account current needs and priority tasks to be performed in order to step up production and export of agricultural products.
“PhosAgro’s cooperation with Innopraktika will become an essential system element to develop innovations and enhance performance of both our company and the mineral fertilizer industry and agricultural chemistry overall.
We are interested in collaborating to search for new innovative ideas, to develop a system for training modern professional personnel for the agroindustrial complex who will be willing to introduce and use these innovations.
A particularly promising and important area of interaction is the development of new types of environmentally friendly fertilizers and plant protection agents. They will be used to manufacture agricultural products with improved environmental performance under the Green Standard brand. PhosAgro is an active participant in projects aimed at its creation.
I’m sure that by combining our competencies, we will be able to have a significant synergetic effect,” said Andrey Guryev, CEO of PhosAgro.
