Usolsky Potash Plant to double its output in 2020
The Usolsky Potash Plant (part of EuroChem) produced 1.14 million tons of potassium chloride last year (for reference: in 2018, the output was 250 thousand tons).
Currently, four flotation lines at the Usolsky Potash Plant are fully loaded. In 2020, the company is expected to produce 2.3 million tons of potassium chloride.
The Usolsky Potash Plant manufactured its first batches in 2018. The plant is developing the Belopashinsky section of the Verkhnekamskoye potassium and magnesium salts deposit (Perm Region).

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
