Socar developing urea supplies
The urea plant of the Azerbaijani state company Socar has begun supplying products in big bags loaded in containers. Containers are transported by rail to Turkey.
The first batch of urea in the amount of 997.5 tons purchased by Pinharras has already been shipped in this way.
Socar launched the urea plant in January 2018. Consuming 435 million cubic meters of natural gas, it can produce up to 660 thousand tons of urea per year. The volume of investments in the plant amounted to 800 million euros.
