Uralkali is obliged to pay nearly 15.5 million dollars

The Supreme Court of the Russian Federation has upheld the decision of three courts below to charge Uralkali additional income tax for 2012 in the amount of 980 million rubles (approximately $ 15.3 million). Uralkali had requested the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation to send the case to the Judicial Collegium for Economic Disputes for review.
According to the Federal Tax Service, Uralkali underestimated the taxable profit by applying conditions different from market ones for tax purposes in transactions with related parties.
