Russian fertilizers output tends upwards
In January-August this year, the production of mineral fertilizers in Russia rose by 3.7% to 16.256 million tons, according to the materials of the Federal State Statistics Service.
Nitrogen fertilizers output increased by 3.9% to 7.577 million tons, phosphorus ones – by 3.9% to 2.805 million tons, potash ones – by 3.3% to 5.874 million tons.
Ammonia production rose 3.2% to 12.2 million tons in nine months.
The production of water-soluble fertilizers increased significantly due to the launch of the previously idle Hydrometallurgical Plant in Lermontov city of Russia.
