Uzkhimprom will soon begin exporting to Afghanistan
The state-owned company Uzkhimprom intends to begin shipments of its mineral fertilizers to Afghanistan in the near future: its subsidiary Uzkimimeimpeks signed three contracts with Afghan businessmen for the supply of nearly 35.155 thousand tons of mineral fertilizers worth $10.210 million.
Uzkhimprom includes 13 enterprises of the chemical industry of Uzbekistan – Navoiazot and Ferghanaazot, the Dekhkanabad Potash Plant, Ammofos-Maxam, Kungrad Soda Plant and others. It also owns two institutes and a couple of logistics organizations.

Europe is falling behind in this field. The concerns 30 years ago was reasonable. Now not so much. We need crops that can survive in a more extreme future climate. Handle droughts and hot weather better. Crops that are less tasty to pests like hogs and deere.
