Verde AgriTech is expanding its production capacity
The Brazilian company Verde AgriTech produced 38,585 tonnes of Super Greensand® and sold 24,670 tonnes throughout the six months ended June 30 this year.
Verde AgriTech is currently expanding its facilities, hoping to complete it in the 3rd quarter of 2019 and to reach the total production capacity of 500 thousand tons.
Although Verde AgriTech does not disclose the Super Greensand formulation, it can be assumed that this is a fertilizer produced from glauconite – a hydrous silicate of iron and potassium, often called “greensand marl”. Glauconite is readily soluble and therefore can really be used as a fertilizer, alternative to potassium chloride.
