A large greenhouse complex to appear in Yakutia
The Far East Development Fund (FRDV) will provide financing to the Sayuri which involves construction of a large greenhouse complex in the city of Yakutsk.
The total investment volume of the project amounts to 1.7 billion rubles (more than $25.7 million), 600 million rubles (approximately $9.1 million) of which will be funded by FRDV. The greenhouse complex will be located on the territory of the advanced development ‘Kangalassa’.
The project aims to ensure food security and import substitution: today, 80% of the Yakut market is dominated by Chinese vegetables.
